The Sacramento Concert Band enjoys performing before an audience and seeks to bring the wonders of music to all who attend. All of our concerts are open to the public and are free of charge. (Donations are gladly accepted) Each year we hold 2 major concerts, perform as part of several community events, and perform at the Carmichael Community Band Festival. May and June are the busy months for us:

Sunday, May 19th, 2024 - 2:30 PM - Spring Concert: Rio Americano Performing Arts Center Saturday or Sunday, June 1st or 2nd, 2024 - TBA - Community Band Festival at Carmichael ParkTThis performance is part of the Annual Community Band Festival founded by the Sacramento Concert Band more than 25 years ago, now presented by the Sacramento Valley Symphonic Band Association and the Carmichael Parks & Recreation District. About a dozen community bands from all over California will perform at hourly intervals all day Saturday and Sunday. Bring a picnic and enjoy us and more! Wednesday, June 5th, 2024 - SCB provides the music for our sponsor, the San Juan School District at their Adult Education Graduation Ceremony

The Sacramento Concert Band is an adult education class of the member of the San Juan Unified School District, is a member of The Sacramento Valley Symphonic Band Association and the Association of Concert Bands.
